Public library books/manuals
Anybody ever used the public library to look up the Harley shop manuals? If so, can you take them out? or are they ref. books that have to remain in the building.

RE: Public library books/manuals
Depends on the Library you're dealing with.. Our system has many titles that are both in the circulating collection and in the reference collection. "Reference" collection to a Librarian means that it cannot be checked out, taken out of the library. Circulating collections are just that... they circulate, can be checked out, and contain both books that people might reference for information (non-fiction) and fiction books. You might find videos as well dealing with motorcycles. Most libraries have their collections on line, so crank in the name of your library and see what they have.
Price is right!
Oh yeah! Library's are usually supported mainly by an ad-valorum property tax so make use of it. Keeps gas in my bike, though not much food on my table!
Enjoy, you may find a Harley rider amoung the staff! We havethree at our branch!
