I had been motorcycle-less for about 3 years, after having sold my Sportster in 2005. I just got my new Street Bob 6 weeks ago, and I have already found a great side-benefit.
I have a 64 mile round trip to and from work. And when I was driving my car both ways, I would go through drive-thru fast food places and eat in the car both directions, usually in bumper to bumber traffic. Now riding my bike everyday has severely limited my ability to eat all that crap. So the result is that I have lost 15 lbs. I went from 210 to 195. And in general, I dont feel that hungry after the ride. Maybe it's the adrenalin. I'm not sure.

I am thinking about contacting Weight-Watchers and seeing if Valerie Bertinella wants to ride with me to advertise my new diet. Of course, then I would be able to lose a whole lot more weight all at once when my wife skins me alive.

those "porky bikers" aren't eating on the bike they are eating when they get off, that's what you gotta be careful of
