I am in the market to get a 3/4 helmet witha shield any good ones out there ?
-Fits good.
-Functios good, good venting etc.
-Won't brake the bank high quality and safe (best bang for the buck)
-Looks cool : )

I have used the HD Ultra Jet for several months. Very good helmet. You can either use the visor or the shield. Comfortable.
A couple of weeks ago, I got the new Carbon Kevlar 3/4. Also has both the visor and the shield. The biggest difference is the weight. It is sooooooooo light! I thought the Ultra Jet was light until I wore the Carbon Kevlar. It is expensive, but well worth it, IMO.

I've got a black Fulmer AF-255 3/4 helmet that cost me about $50. I use it when the temps drop below 65 and it fits like a glove. Therein lies the key. You have to try them on. I tried many helmets before I settled on this one including helmets that cost much more. Many didn't fit right or weren't comfortable. I also purchased a $60 Fulmer top of the line 1/2 helmet based on the fit of my 3/4. The dealer didn't have one in stock and had to special order it. Well, it didn't fit right at all and it's sitting on a shelf in my office. I found a Vega 1/2 helmet that was also $50 and is far superior, looks decent and fit's my noggin very well. Again, you have to try them on. You can't just mail order something with the hopes that it will be the right helmet for you.
Long story short. There are many great helmets out there but whatever brand / model you decide on doesn't mean anything until you try it on as it has to fit your head.

I haven't purchased yet, but plan to buy the Nolan N42. I tried it on at a dealer, it's lighter then my half helmet. I have heard much good about the Nolan. Try many brands for fit before you buy.
