About To Put Deposit Down but I have a Question

I've ridden a bunch of other bikes over the years and they all have traits that are great or not so great.
If the bike fits you well and is comfortable for you ,does the job you want it to do then you're set.
I think the reality of it is that a Harley has a certain sound and vibe to it that just naturally makes some of us drool. There are much faster and maybe more comfortable rides out there for some with newer technology and a better power band etc. but the feel of a Harley makes up for those things in spades if you are someone who rides one for a while.
Fords,Chevys,Dodges all are trucks. Some of us like one and some another. Ya gotta pick out your own toys!

I have always owned Honda's and had plenty of good to say about them, I have clocked way over 100K miles on them.
I am 39 years old and the decision to go Harley came from this
1, I am an all weather rider and I don't like to constantly polish,. with that said I did not want to be making a payment on something that has chrome Plastic parts. actual metal chrome is the better choice for longevity.
2, Resale, I cant see dropping $12K to $15K on a bike that in two years is gonna be worth $4k
3, I like the nostalgia of the unchanged Harley. The custom Bikes and the metric wanabe bikes don't do it for me or my style of riding.
Don't know if that helps or if you will even read this but that's my $.02
