Is the 09 rootbeer colored street glide worth waiting on

I talked to a couple of people from a local dealer who have seen it at a private HD showing. They both said that it was a killer color combo. I'm interested in a Ultra in that color as well.

what does your psychiatrist say to do?

Call or email
Why don't you call or email dealers within a 150 mile radius of you and ask them if any have that color in stock. If they do, drive out and look at one, then decide. Problem solved.

My cousing had a 70's FX in 'rootbeer' brown. I LOVED that color. So I went to HD website, and looked at 'your' bike. Sorry AC, that is NOT rootbeer brown, to this Ol' Fart. Too redish and too dark. Not sure if the 'internet' color looks like the 'in person' color. But you stated you like 'dark' bikes, so just may be your ticket.
HD had a metallic bright burnt orange color in the 60's. A guy we see a few times a summer, painted his Heritage that color. I'd LOVE to see that color on a street glide, with the batwing, etc. I think it would be a stand out in any crowd, rolling or parked. But, JMFUO

Go back to the 1978 archives to see an FLH in Root Beer. They were few, but they existed. I'm sure the new isn't exactly like the old but gotta be close. Candy Root Beer over gold metal flake has been a hot-rodders favorite for a few decades, try a couple custom car shows or cruise nights to possibly see it up close. If the treatment is anything like the new platinum metalflake of the SE Roadglide, I'd say it's worth the wait.

I saw a Roadking in the rootbeer combo at the York factory. It looked real good. Although I dont know if it would look good on a Streetglide. On a Ultra I think it would look spectacular. One color I saw that I did really like was the black ice/blue ice. That color was bad ***. I saw tins that color in the factory. I would love to see it on a Streetglide.
