Default The lake is hard - is it still OK to ride?

I woke up this morning and the lake was hard. Is it OK to ride or is the season over?

My opinion is that when the salt trucks have been around, the bike is put away until that last salt truck has ran, and the rains have fallin'

Yea, OK to ride but I thank you gotta put dem metal spikey tires on first.

I'm trying to imagine...our hazard is that the leaves falling from the trees become slippery when the rains set in around December...

Sounds like Lake of the Woods is in for some bad weather Thursday,our lake is still open but some of the shallow ones froze over last night,going to get to 9 deg tonight here with 15-20 mpw's so see what happens in the am........My bikes are in hibernation now waitting for spring thaw.......

I lived in Duluth for a couple years....what don't they race on ice! Hehe!
