Very interesting read about Harley

Funny, that is the same exact answer that I received when I ask my postmaster about the lastest postage increase.
So, instead of refusing to bow to the increase, I just simply starting using my local banks BillPay. Actually, I solved two problems in the process, no more postage cost or envelope licking.
Proving there are other ways to avoid being shafted if one uses this his head for other things besides growing hair.
Don't you just love a buyers market???

I have a lot of confidence that Harley will get through the current economic recession as well as, or better than most. They are still posting a profit, the default rate on their financed bikes is one of the lowest in the financial industry, not just the vehicle industry, they still market a very desirable product and their available cash is considered one of the best for a major industry.

I would say the next few months are going to be interesting for us all. Cash will be king.
And a better time to buy a new bike.

I sure hope they make it out of this mess okay. I'd hate to see HD go down. Although some of their stuff is made overseas, they are still an American legend and I will continue to support.

Read the article, 5 different accountants would probabley read the figures in 5 different ways. 5 different brokers would all sell there mothers and then tell you the sky was falling.

Ya I got that too. Lots of "assumptions" and "this leads us to believe" crap in there. This is the same type of article that crippled the home markets and exploded what should have been a bubble pop into a major world wide recession. Meanwhile he will make a killing on shorting the stock.
