I read somewhere that they were going to make a movie with motorcycles with pink stickers. It is going to be called
Broke Back Biker
just kidding you conroskie, I can just imagine the frustration you are feeling. But if you were my riding buddy, I'd be ******* you every chance I got...untill I had to put the pink sticker on "my" bike.
hang in there buddy, only 364 more days to display it

Chicago used to have it's own city tax and city plate for bikes. Well actually it still does. There was no good way to mount the durned thing. Either part of the city plate ended up covered and could get you a ticket, or part of the real plate ended up covered and could get you a ticket.
A friend of mine is CPD and he said no Chicago cop would write me for having part of the city plate covered, and no one else would care about the city requirement.
I could easily have covered the sticker part with my City plate, but I moved out of that tax crazy place.
(I heard the city got new city plates that are better for mounting since I left. The city plate was $45 / year! In addition to the state plate $$)

Well, you could do like I do and not put it on. Rather, it stays on the reg and in my pocket along with the insurance while I ride. Do I get pulled over? Yup, 1 time in 3 years and when the State Trooper asked me about it I told him the truth. It was so he could pull me over thus checking to see if the bike was (A) registered and (B) mine. He cut me loose no problem.
