I wear the Panoptix day/night transition glasses and they work great.

I'm not sure the brand matters (I can't remember the brand that's why) but I bought
a pair with a yellow lense and it seems to cut down on the glare quite a bit.

Default Night time glasses

I used these Davida WRS 74. They come with black, yellow and clear interchangeable lenses. www.davida.co.uk - I'm sure they are available in the USA

I have some transitional wrap-arounds from www.eyeride.com. At night, they are slightly yellow.

Wearing any tinted lense will cut down on light transmission. A yellow lense gives only a false impression that the wearer is better able to see at night. It is only fooling the brain. This is why major companies, such as Oakley, will not market tinted lenses for "improved night vision". Any ophthalmologist can verify this.

For $3 these.
The CL119 's have a light mirror coating that reduces glare. Did I mention that they are $3
