Lawyers with weird bikes
#22
The ad agencies probably use an unidentifiable bike in order to avoid paying for the use of the bike.
I'm sure that the MOCO, and others, wants a little $$omething if you're going to use THEIR product to pimp your own product.
JMHO.

I don't know if I should admit it, but I'm a lawyer and for a second job I run a video/film production company. Let me say from both hats that I wear you cannot put a brand name, trademark, or copyrighted material in an ad without express permission (unless you catch something in stock footage that fits into a specific category - please don't ask!). I've gone to seminars on photoshop just to figure out how to take logos out of photos so I can try to market them commercially.
On the original topic: I agree that money and taste do not go together. Then again, in this market I know lawyers coming out of law school that are looking at salaries in the $30k range... So it appears that having the title "lawyer" doesn't exactly equal money anymore.

i'm a lawyer and would not put my bike in an add . most of these guys are trying to get some credability w/ the biker community.most likely to try to get potential bike wreck cases since they usually have serious injuries involved. i've was riding before i started to practice law 16 years ago and imo most guys w/ these adds probably dont even ride that often.its basically a marketing ploy, that said i also dont think my bike is weird
