Default Came home happily disappointed

So my wife and I rode from Springfield oregon down to Coos bay, only a couple hour ride. We went down to meet my Dad and his Girlfriend. We ride to Highway 101 HD where I bought the '07 Streetglide I have now. We all look around for awhile and there she sits. Just sitting there looking oh so beautiful. She's dark skinned with the most beautiful set of jugs I've ever seen. It's an '10 Flat Black Streetglide that is just drop dead gorgious. A great price to boot. She has a tag hanging off her for a whopping $18,619 which is about $3,000 less that list. I tell Tiger(great guy) to fax the numbers to my credit union. I wait for about 10 minutes and call credit union back to find out whats up. They proceed to tell me they only got the $21,??? price on the bike, but no trade value on my bike. Turns out someone priced the bike wrong, hey people make mistakes. So I ask if they'll split the difference with me. No such luck, but hey I still have my Beautiful '07 Streetglide with nice jugs sitting in the garage. I'm happy with that.

They say things happen for a reason. Impulse buys are sometimes regretted anyways. Glad to hear you still have a smile on your face.

I remember when the law said whatever price the merchant had on the item is what they had to sell it for! So much has changed over the years!

A good dealer would have honored the marked price.

YOU got REAL LUCKY, you woke up this morning with NO buyers remorse Now, go down to the gateway shopping mall in Springfeild, there's a small assessorie shop there that sells crystal glow polish, get a bottle, shine up the 07, it'll look like new, and be happy you didn't go in debt

It still says that and it is a federal law. It is called false advertising.

I seriously doubt they would have to honor that price.

you'd prob have to take them to court, and by the time it was done (money wise) you'd prob still be out of the pocket the actual price.
It's fun to be a jerk sometimes though

I would just save more money by buying a better bike... like for instance a new Street Bob.
