Training Wheels for Motorcycles?
#21
I had a friend that put the little trike wheeles on his Goldwing when he turned 85. He would not give up riding so his kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids made him put those little retractable wheels on his bike. It's better than not riding I would think!

I agree with the fact that riders with a disability would rather ride two wheels than three it would be the ticket! I seen some guys leavin bars that really should invest in em though!!!

LOL! Cpt. Itch. Actually one gal was a little on the heavy side but not bad and the other quite trim. Who knows. They seemed to be having a good time. More power to them.

I've only seen one gentleman riding with that type of setup. He was going the other way and I did a u-turn to go check him out. He was riding, he was happy, and I decided if it worked for him it was cool with me.

I've never seen those little wheels before but have seen a few of the Voyager conversions. Was mostly older, handicapped riders.

Last year during Sturgis, I went to Devils Tower. There was an elderly rider that was a volunteer to assist visitors with parking. He had a yellow Gold Wing with them on. Talked to him about them and the raise and lower at certain speeds by a computer.
He was well into his 70's and it gave him a level of comfort for low speed handling. Very elaborate setup. Computer, servos and controls. Computer was mounted in the travel trunk.
It keep him riding. Something for everyone out there.
