Definitely don't see many of these around, and it's OK with me...

I have the Heritage Classic in Gunmetal Pearl with the gold key package.

She is sweet to ride. Just put a 95 big bore and SE 203 cams in her last winter. 29000 miles.

After waiting forever for my 03 gun metal Fatboy to come in I went to the myrtle beach rally. I ordered the gun metal because I thought the two tone option silver/black would be real popular and I wanted to be a little different. Well like others have mentioned they were everywhere! So like others I decided to change mine a little. We wetsanded off the clear coat and airbrushed skulls all over the gunmetal blue paint and then recleared. It looks great and with the black skulls the gunmetal blue has a darker tone to it so it stands out more than the stock gunmetal blue. I went to Myrtle Beach this past May and received a lot of positive comments. It does make it easier to find in the crowd!

I thought about going custom color, but I still love her the way she is.

I've got a 1200C in the popular black and silver. Easy to find with passing lamps, windshield, bobtail fender and big azz saddlebags. And I've put over 9000 miles on since I bought her "new" in late August '05, wasa demo modle with only 39 miles on the odometer.

Don't seem to have much of a problem finding mine. I think its just a little different than most.

Always know where my girl is.

Ordered her while I was deployed to Iraq and she was waiting in the garage when I got home..first pic of me on the bike was with me in DCU battle dress.

22k on her and love her more every day!
