Default The Mini Beast 2 is installed.......

On Saturday at Delmarva I bought the Mini Beast 2 from the guys and one incredibly good looking gal at Eastern Performance Cycles. I got the last one, the display model (still in the sealed box).

I got back to the condo and when my buddy saw it he raved about how good looking it was. So we took it out and installed it. Total install time was about thirty minutes but that included some Beer and BS time.

My Bike is a 2009 and I did NOT have to raise the gas tank to install it (I've read that on some models you have to do this). Install was VERY easy.
Do not be put off by the weight of the unit or the size if you are thinking of buying it. Once installed it is rock solid and vibrates very little at idle and almost zero at speed. Vibration is WAY less than the stock horn assembly. Just be sure to install the included rubber washer between the bracket on the horn and the bracket on the bike.
Looks wise it is top notch and the chrome quality is excellent.

And oh the sound.... some guys staying at one of the condos near us were heading out for a ride as we finished the install. They were checking out my bike and I asked them what they thought of my new horn. I blew the horn for them and they were laughing like Hell and amazed at the sound.

Last note....... the crew from Eastern Performance Cycles was top notch and their price was way below the actual manufacturer's price.... the manufacturer was at another location in Delmarva and they wanted $189 for the horn.
It can be bought for $159 from EPI on-line but I got a little better price than that at the Bike Week event.

A photo of the gal from EPC holding the horn would have been great.... but when she handed me the horn I got a hard on and dropped my camera and it broke.

Probably the sudden lose of blood form his extremity's caused his fingers to go numb and he couldn't hold onto the camera OR........He dropped the camera in a quick reflex action to cover said hard on. OR......He didn't get a hard on or drop the camera cause he didn't have a camera with him OR.....He did have a camera with him but just didn't think to take a picture.

If the last one is the case then we need to.......
