Have you ever noticed in the beginning of ever parts section, that there are GPS coordinates on the featured bikes picture location? This summer I rode to several of the way points that are listed in Harleys parts catalogs. There are so many nice pictures here on the forum and have wondered if any one has ever done the same to snap a few personal pics? As a no destination solo rider located in northern Illinois, it's probably a bit easier located near Wisconsin(where most features are located) but it was just a thought...Anyone else have any pictures from waypoints or thoughts?

 

Would you happen to have any of the part numbers for these way points listed in the Parts Catalog? Obviously, one of us needs another beer......

In the beginning of every section, whether it be VRCS, Dyna, Softail or Touring there are pictures of mildly cosmetic modded bikes with its' GPS locations in the background picture...and yes, now I am drinking(not riding)...it's the weekend!

 

Guess I don't look at the pictures close enough! I will in the future.

 

GT, it's in every book for the past few years, for example since you ride a RG, in the 2010 book on pg. 332-333 is the FLTRX. It is pictured at Bradford Beach; Milwaukee, Wis.

pg.330-331 feature a Road King and Street Glide at Southbound Pub and Grill; Milwaukee, Wis. Have you ever heard of those places?

 

Nope, I reckon I would rather be trailblazer than a trail follower. lots of beautiful places to use for backdrop...

 

Haven't been to Bradford Beach since I was a kid But do go by there on occassion. Southbound was on our summer poker run last year. OK place but nuthin special
