Parts That Have Fallen Off Your Bike
#11
09 nightster, fuse cover loosened and the cover "fell off" it was still hooked onto the bike so it didnt fall completly off but it came undone and swung down on the hindge. A zip tie fixed that.
I had some paint under the rear fender chip off (does that count?)
Other than that I love my Harley.
I love all motorcycles

I was riding down the highway at 70 mph one day & all of a sudden my bike had more power, felt lighter & pulled up the hill easier then it ever had. I turned back to my wife & ask her if she noticed it too. I never got an answer
BTW, I never lost any "parts".

so far nothing has ever fallen off any of my bikes and I am on my third one. Also never had anything fall off any of the fly and ride bikes either and i have put some miles on those too.
I think no matter what brand of bike something will eventually loosen, then there is always the technical deficiencies where something might fall off.
that stuff just happens to every brand

My "throttle rocker" (velcro strap type) was working its way off the end of the grip and I bumped it off with my hand while sitting at a light. I had to put down the stand and get off to retrieve it while the light turned green. No one behind me honked or any of those shennanigans which was nice of them.

Been lucky. Having had 2 British bikes and 2 Harleys, among others, never had anything fall off (that I could tell), but had a buncha stuff get real loose.

In 44 yrs of riding and wrenching on my bikes I cant remember anything that fell off any of my bikes, If something did I would have no one to blame but myself for not installing it correctly in the first place.. or didn't keep on top of servicing it.
Its easy for someone to put down your bike, I think sometimes it jealousy or their envious of what U have.
