I found this one and thought a thread with a collection of this type would fun.

 

Don't have any myself but, love these old photos. The "Adventure Riders" post the other day was pretty dang cool. Hope those who have some will share!

 

Here is a couple of my dad taken in June 1944 with his Indian Chief. These were take ni Cicero, IL a few days before he left for the South Pacific. He had just gotten drafted into the Navy.

 

This is not actually "Vintage", but it is my first HD. 1972 XLCH that I baught in the late fall of 1971. This picture was taken at my camp site in Northern Minnesota (on Leech Lake). This was the last leg of a 9,000+ mile trip I took before going into the Army.

 

That's my Grandma on the Harley.

It's a D model made from 29 to 31. It was a 45 CU, the first of the HD flatheads and was
refered to as the 3 cylinder becasue the generator was mounted vertically. They were replaced
in 32 by the R model when the frame was modified so the generator could be mounted
horizontally and later became the W.
