Back in 1971, bought a 1951 45 CI basket case. Fun working and fun riding

 

My Street Glide. No sense playing.

 

1978, 18yrs old, I'd had minibikes and ridden by brothers motorcycles, but the first motorcycle I bought was a 1970 FLH full dresser red and white with the big white seat. That was my first ride on a Harley. I sure wish I still had it. Now I ride a blue 06 Ultra Classic.

 

1969 XLCH kick start.

 

The first H-D I ever rode was an '07 Softail Deluxe. Bought it new. Rode it 25 miles home from the dealership. Owned other motorcycles prior to that one and since then, but that was my first H-D. 96 cubic inches, six speed transmission, dual exhaust...wonderful music.

 

First one was a '59 Sportster while stationed at Atsugi, Japan in 1962.

Next one, a 2004 Superglide, purchased in 2005. L-o-n-g time in between!

I started big,it was a fat boy.

 

My ’08 Nighster……pretty big bike compared to the Nighthawk 450 that preceded it 20 years earlier.
