I think the biggest ordeal will be learning to ride the thing! From what I understand, It's a right side clutch/shift, and its 1 up 3 down! Crazy Italians!!!

Have you completed your bike? I recently bought 2 Rapidos and am having problems locating a carb rebuild kit and some mics parts.

wow, do those pics bring back memories, My bud had one, I had baja 100, wouldn't mind having either one right now. heavy bikes for their motor size though.

I'm also looking forward to the pics.

In 1970 when I purchased my first bike, I wanted a Sportster but couldn't afford one. I came very, very close to getting a new Rapido but ended up with a Yamaha 175 Enduro for reasons that still escape me.

I still have the sales brochure for that Rapido and wish I had bought it back in the day.
