I think the biggest ordeal will be learning to ride the thing! From what I understand, It's a right side clutch/shift, and its 1 up 3 down! Crazy Italians!!!

Have you completed your bike? I recently bought 2 Rapidos and am having problems locating a carb rebuild kit and some mics parts.

 

What a funky little ride, now I know where the eggheads over at Triumph stole their plans for the Bonneville from.

 

That is pretty neat. Would not mind having one of those restored, myself.

 

wow, do those pics bring back memories, My bud had one, I had baja 100, wouldn't mind having either one right now. heavy bikes for their motor size though.

In 1970 when I purchased my first bike, I wanted a Sportster but couldn't afford one. I came very, very close to getting a new Rapido but ended up with a Yamaha 175 Enduro for reasons that still escape me.

I still have the sales brochure for that Rapido and wish I had bought it back in the day.
