MY SON CAN'T STAY OFF MY BIKE. IF I DON'T LOCK THE IGNITION AND HE'S AROUND.....HE'S GONE, I'LL HEAR IT FIRE UP AND THE MUSIC THUMPING ON DOWN THE STREET....LOL
THE BAD THING ABOUT IT IS I GAVE HIM MY OLD CUSTOM SOFTAIL.....MAYBE I'LL HAVE TO GIVE HIM THE CLASSIC WHEN I FINISH MY ROAD GLIDE.....OH WELL, GOTTA LOVE UM!!!

My kid is now grown and 21 years old and just making a start with a new family working at a car dealership and going to school part time. I picked up an 04 Wide Glide last November and seen the look in his eyes when I got it. I let him ride it on the back roads and he was all on fire looking around for a Sportster model more in line with his budget. A couple of weeks later I ran across a good deal on an 03 Wide Glide in like new condition at a very good price. He went with me on a 1500 mile trip to pick it up thinking I got the 03 for moma. Needless to say, he was a very happy young fellow to find the keys to the 04 inside a new helmet on Christmas morning. It was a rare opportunity to do something special for him and it eased my mind knowing that he was getting started with a cruise type bike rather than a crotch rocket type plus sharing a love I've always had for bikes.
you're a good dad.

They were nervous at first. I had sold my last bike before my oldest was born. He's 19. I always figured I'd get another one, just something else more important always needed taken care of first. When I first started really looking they decided I better hurry 'cause I'm old. So now they call it my midlife crisis bike. Anyhow, once they rode on it they were in love. They like being picked up from their friends houses on it.

My two sons started riding with me when they were 10 and 7. Nothing lit their faces up like being picked up from school in front of all of their friends. They are both in their late 20s now and have little interest as they are finishing up med school and engineering school. Hopefully the day will come when they get back into it. And if not, hopefully they'll make enough money in their chosen professions to take care of Dad when the time comes for a new HD! LOL!

My 18 yr old son likes the look of it but calls it an old man bike. He wants a Ducati (I once owned one myself). My 21 yr old daughter loves it and enjoys riding with me once in a while.

Neither of my boys (19 and 31) like my bikes. Now my oldest son's 2 1/2 year old daughter just loves them. She is just thrilled that her Grammy has her own bike....
