Bike's gonna be a year old, got the reg today $278 what a crock of chit

 

$128 vehicle registration
$48 plate
$28.75 annual plate validation sticker
$35 safety inspection
+13% tax

 

 

Money has got to come from somewhere to rebuild roads the big trucks tear up...lol.

 

aint been a road crew working on these roads in over 10 years unless you count the salt trucks dump salt down for the winter

 

Did they raise the rates? or did you just not know?

NC DMV registration $23 (but it's going up this year)
Wake County property tax $118 (good thing I kept the old bike eh?)
Inspection $10
$151 last year.... at least this year, the bike is one year older.... so property tax will be less

 

Don't forget to write the excise tax portion off on your federal return. I do all 3 of my vehicles.

Iowa, just looked at my registrations and it's actually $10.50 per bike.
