Default what?

I must have missed something (not the first time though) because I have no idea what duck walking your bike actually is, or is this one of those inside jokes that only a few of the forum members know about? Could this be the new biker exercise AND higher mpg averages too. Going uphill has to be a real *itch.

They use it in the class as one of the step towards learning to use the clutch and balance the bike. Remember some of the students have never sat on a bike or used a clutch before.

Yeah..... I don't think they teach student to "duck-walk" but as an excersize to learn throttle control and the friction zone.... plus it in the BEGINING riders class.

Although in fairness, sit at any "biker bar" or Rally.... and you'll see a LOT of folks duck walking....

Didn't the dealer give you your duck??? Better go back and yell at him... If you don't have a duck they won't let you into the local biker bar..

Default Duck Walk a Trike?

NSC, I feel yer pain bro. I had to run for a few years with a leg brace from an accident that's all but forgotten now. The permanent limp keeps reminding me of it, tho. The plastic made me look like the kid with polio in those old movies which the other kids made fun of. I tossed the plastic, cuz for me it was more of a nuiscance than help.
Me too, I got the Harley leg from a cager going left of center on me back in 03. I got the steel brace running up the leg attached to a swivel that hooks into my boot. Don't squeak to bad if I keep it oiled although I would probably lose a foot race with the mummy!

Got a few other busted up joints, pinned and screwed together, had to go with a trike! Just to keep my knees in the wind a few more years...

We call those guys 'Private Pilots' and always wonder when they are going to retract the landing gear!
