Little Sturgis?

Little Sturgis?
Just wondering if anyone is planning on attending little sturgis this year?
Last year I went with a group and we had a good time
We did have one issue, one of the guys lost traction in the dirt for a second while moving and "Security" tossed him.
He was allowed back in after paying admission again though.
I say "Security" because there colors are red and white!
Just think it was kind of overkill.

3 days and 2 nights of the most fun i have had in a while.{last year} i camped next to an older couple in a 250,000.00 motor-home and they LIKED me.....i ate a hot meal and drank cold beer all weekend. i notice it will be an all week event this year.. they went up on prices from 40 bucks for three days admission to 140 bucks for the week. all the proceeds go to charity. dry county, but once you get in the gate, then all goes...

I used to go to Little Sturgis every year!!!
It looks like it is still $40.00 for the entire week if you ride in. Cars, trucks, RV's are getting hit with a pricey entrance fee though. It is a bike rally though lol

Yeah the prices have changed only if you come by car, truck, or rv. But the price change is only if you go before the weekend . If you ride in you pay only $40 if you stay all week or just one day. I enjoyed it and we were camping a lot closer to the exit than entrance. There really wasn't that much going on around our campsite.
That is most likely why I felt that it was more tame than the boogie. (We camped right in the middle of everything there the year before)
We are only going for the weekend, 16-18 July, but we will definitely be there.
Definitely thinking about going to the Iowa Freedom Rally the 1,2,&3 of July as well.

I go to Little Sturgis in Mississippi...
Thousands of bikes of every make, model and type line the main street (there is only one street in Sturgis); in 2004 over 30,000 motorcycles crowded into this small town to enjoy motorcycle games, stunt jumps, view vendors wares, entertainment and much more.

a friend of mine and i are thinking of going. neither of us have been to a rally before, any tips, hints, ideas of what to expect? should we just strap a tent to the back of the bike to camp, or are is there limited space? really have no idea what to expect, but want to go and see the different bikes and vendors. thanks, GTG
