Default would you go with a complete Black out, or polish the current ?

ok i am bored my kids are driving me up the wall so in effort to releive some tension i decided to start puttign my bike together in my head,
now here is how the bike looked before i fitted the new tank on it and sent the fenders and tan kfor paint.

so i am debated on wether i want to black out the primary cover and camchest/sprocket cover or take the time to polish the snot out of them.

what do you guys think?

Polish it.......it will look much better than having it blacked out. My 73 Sportster came with the "crinkle black" covers and in the winter of 1973, I stripped everything that was crinkle black and sent it out to be chromed. The bike looked so much better.

You,re going with black tins, right. So polished cases would look superb in my opinion. Especially as the alloy quality in the older Harley cases was much better than the new stuff. Should come up a treat. If you want to go black after you could if you wanted.

I had a blacked out ironhead. They look great done up that way, along with a little shiny stuff for contrast. I'm thinking black wrinkle on the cases, with stainless or chrome hardware. Maybe polish or Dremel the fins on that primary too.
