Just curious if anyone knows if any of the HD dealers actually read any of these posts?

 

Yes, because they really care about you.

 

after they go home they get on and check out what you said about them

 

I really doubt it. Most people I talk to at a dealership have no idea what the internet is.

Some do, some don't.

If they are busy, it's very unlikely that they would wade through the constant silly stuff just to find insults geared toward themselves. They likely blow these boards off as silly stuff.

I seriously think that we are a minority in regards to a percentage of customers that post the internet forums. We are "nobody" to them.

 

New York City Harley of Long Island City NY responded to a thread where a guy was describing his problems.

 

A good dealer or salesman would. If I were in sales and I had to way to research what customers are saying and wanting...especially when people post "Is this a good deal? post. If I could beat that sale or my service dept could do the work cheaper I would want to know

 

I was at my Dealer the other day and the Parts guy was recommending the forums to a customer for something . I didn't get the entire thing as I was just passing by

 

My dealer had never even heard of it when I ask him.

 

Doubtful that many do.......but why would we care?
