Default Will unpluggin the fuel guage screw anything up?

I am the worst when it come to electrical **** and with all the electronic stuff on today's bikes I'm even more paranoid about touching anything.

I've got flush mounted gas cap and fuel gauge on my bike and those blue lights on the gauge drive me nuts and the damn thing isn't even close to being accurate anyway.

My question is....If I just unplug the thing is it going to affect anything else?

Thanks.

Good answer...Just what the judges were wantin to hear. You win the prize.

Unfortunately due to the current sever weather conditions that are plaguing a large portion of the country we can not guarantee when we will be able to process and ship your prize to you. You will know it has been shipped when it arrives at your home.

Thank you for your participation. We do appreciate it.

Everybody knows it's not about the fuel gauge......It's where you put the gas cap when re-fueling.

I'm thinkin...I'll just pull that whole gauge out of there and then I'll have a place to put my gas cap when I get gas. Or.....I could take out the gauge and cut off that lil tube where you run the wires and I could use it as a cup holder. Or..... I could use it as a place to put flowers in like they have in the VW Bug...What da ya think?

That would come in handy for hauling flowers on Valentines day. Of course, the stems would be in the gas, so you could light 'em up when you got home, for that special effect.

She'll be so impressed with the flaming roses........she won't notice how many chocolates are missing from the box.

Not sure how the stems would end up in the gas but I'll probably go with plastic flowers since I don't have much of a windshield.
