Thumbs up How many riders consider riding good for your mental health?

Stress is the one thing the human body can't seem to deal with.

To alliviate stress I ride and ride often, and it really helps me. My thoughts come togeither and life makes a little more sense as I reflect and ride.

I believe this is the main reason I ride, how about you guys and gals?

So that answers the question: "Why am I so stressed during the winter months?" Cause I"m not riding everyday, like I am in the spring, summer, and fall. Yep, I knew it all along. How many Harley's do you see parked in front of the Psychiatrist Office?

I agree, its a form of therapy for me. I know guys that play video games or play golf or what ever . I just get behind the handle bars and ride and it seems to bring everything in to focus. Nice bike by the way.

Agreed. After about half hour of riding in the country the mood is changed. You might even have some solutions to what was bothering you. Definitely a benefit of ownership!

I find it very helpful for my mental well-being to get out and ride, even if it's just a short one. Snow sucks! I can tell that I haven't been on a ride in a while. There's 10" of snow on the ground here now. Can't wait for it to melt! I guess it's not nearly as bad as out east. They're gonna have snow on the ground 'til July!

I consider it to be essential to mental health. I also credit it in large part to helping me maintain my sobriety.

Ever since I had my first dirt bike, riding has been the best stress reliever. Try being without a job and not being able to ride.....
