we have a chance to get either a cast or a alum primary cover for my wifes sporty. which would be the better one to get? any advice??? thinking maybe cast would be a lil more durable but would it matter?

 

Each one has it's own merits. The cast one will offer durability where the aluminum one will disipate heat better allowing your air cooled engine to run cooler.
I like aluminum, It would be my pic!

 

I believe mine is chrome, dunno what's under that...
