Default Run Stop Turn question

I’ve been thinking about putting a “run turn stop” unit on my 2008 EGUC. What is your opionion of these units? I am wanted to increase my visibility and I like the fact it turns your turn signals into running lights.

It will work with stock lights any other add on lights it will burn out. Just something to think about. It will add lighting.

I like them. I recommend the Biketronics version. I ahd the Harley version and it died after 6 months. The Biketronics has been on for several years without a problem.

I installed it on my Dyna. really lights up the back of the bike. Well worth the money....IMHO.

Just installed the HD version that I ordered through Zanotti Motor Co - great on-line HD source
About a 10 min install on the Ultra, including seat removal and lens replacement, so very simple.
Really adds to the "lights" on the back of the bike, especially to have the extra brake lights.
Worthwhile addition IMHO.

Don't combine it with LED type lighting or you will burn up your battery. Somehow, the HD version shunts voltage to ground as a direct short.

I had no problem with the HD unit with LED's but I did change it last season. It works fine but you need to add a load equalizer.

I run LED's in both bikes now with RTB controllers. One setup is a Kuryaken Panacea & the other is a Badlands unit. I added a Badlands load equalizer to the Panacea & can use the 4 way flashers without a problem for an unlimited of time.
