You see, the whole thing is that the bungee cords, wear and tear looking body, broken ****, wasn't from my experiences or travels. To continue on with all those things just wouldnt make me feel like it wasnt my bike. I would feel like it was someone elses bike every time I rode. Now I can start fresh with it and ***** it up on my own and it will feel like my bike.

i've been following this saga since day one, wish I had a heated garage to do something similar, hats off to you for the great job so far. If anyone says this or that, just say, that's how I wanted it to be.

Works for me. I wasn't tryin to tell you what to do with your scoot. Just said I didn't see anything wrong with it before. You gotta make it what you want it to be and me or anyone else be damned. Let those who ride decide doesn't only apply to helmets. It applies to the whole ridin experience in my opinion.
Don't mean I'm right....I could be wrong...Wouldn't be the 1st time.

I think the bike looks good now but I think all Harleys are beautiful. Be they new off the showroom floor or fresh from 50 years in a barn under a pile of hey.

Now go ride the **** outa that beautiful piece of American art and history.

You guys are way too shallow. You have to look beyond the surface and into the soul of a bike in order to see it's real beauty. That bike had been through allot and you could see that just by looking at it. Right now it's probably thinking "I wasn't good enough for him when I was just myself, now I have to keep up this act to keep him happy so he won't throw me away".

It's very sad I think.
Shallow? I believe I'd have to have a few more assets before I could qualify as shallow. I've been around as long as bungee chords but when I'm used to hold something together, it's time to replace ME!

Look'n good.

More wet sand and clear for some more depth.

Keep up the good work!

Umm, what? Putting a little bit to much thought in it maybe? However, to keep with your line of thinking. How do you know the bike isn't thanking him for restoring it back to its former glory?
