Wow, IMO i think i would ride on days im going to ride and golf and other, instead on doing both the same day. i dont know if i would risk crashing my baby to chase a ball around a grass yard. golfing has just never appealed to me much. but im sure it is a fun time to others, just not my cup of tea.

This is not as difficult as you might think Rivco products makes a 2 different rear mounting racks and a SportCaddy for the racks.

I saw an add last year of a guy that had his mounted where his saddle bag went. The bracket replaced his bag and his golf clubs rode there. Looked pretty good but I can't remember the site.

Thats some funny ****,

My concern would be this, Golf and beer drinking is like peas and carrots, my buddies will play beer a hole games or figure out who's buying at the 19th hole..we always have a designated driver (sometimes on the fairway too) but I would never golf and ride on the same day

I used to carry clubs sometimes when I had an FLHS. It was pretty easy. I used an "airline bag" for the clubs. That's just a big zippered bag that you put your golf bag into. Then the clubs can't slide out. I put the airline bag sideways across the passengr seat held down with a bungee cord on each side. Put the golf shoes in the saddlebags and you're good to go.

The golf bag will pretty much ruin your ability to see back with the mirrors but you can turn your head around to check blind spots when you pass. The only problem I had is there wasn't enough space to hold my leather jacket, helmet and street shoes when I got to the course. I had to put all my stuff in another guy's car.

It was kind of cool to combine two hobbies on the same day.

I do not remember what forum, but last year there was a posting about a commercially available golf bag carrier for motorcycles. Several posted with pictures of their bikes carrying golf bags.
