I dont change the headlights or oil on my car. Does that mean I'm not a 'driver'?

 

Biker....Smiker..... I've been riding and working on Harley's going on 30 years. All I consider myself as is a hippy with a motorcycle

 

LOL...I spent $6.00 at the DMV to have the little "M" put on the back of my license. That say's I'm a REAL biker I guess. If you ask a dealer the same question, their answer may be that you are not a real biker until you have purchased every chrome, leather, painted, plastic, shiney, and dull doodad that you can possibly plaster on your bike.

 

Ditto. Paid 600 bucks for my first one. Paid 20 grand for this one. Put lots of miles on in between the last 25 years. Not many people I know call me a biker though. I feel, I feel.... I feel.... so.. ... neglected. [sm=smiley19.gif]

 

It's funny this subject came up.
I've had been riding Goldwings for 29 years before I finally got my first Harley.

A friend that has been a Harley Davidson man for 30 years said to me after he saw my '03 Ultra Classic for the first time, "You're somebody now, I'm sure glad you got rid of that Rice Burner".

 

I'm a Man the like bikes and I love to ride them hard this goes for women also.

its not the money, its the style!

1) gotta get a big harley sticker for the pickup truck one drives instead of riding.

2) oh, and a tattoo, preferably of an american corporation like AT&T, Kotex, Harley Davidson, or PepsiCo. or a skull. ya just cant go wrong with a skull tattoo.

3) obsessing about chrome accessories like a housewife at bloomingdales is thought highly of as well...

You don't need no money.....just a handle like "HarleyBob" or "HarleyAl" or "SargentHarley".....yep thats all it takes.

 

I give $1 to have people call me a biker in front of others.
