much respect to that guy for riding that many miles. i say to each his own, everyone has their own ideas on what works for them. I think 100k miles on car tires entitles him to some credibility

Simply put, I don't ever want to have to ask myself "would I not have crashed if I had a motorcycle tire on the back instead of a car tire". I can read all the proof that it is fine and whatnot, but I'm just not not doing it.

That being said, I'm not going to doubt what people that have done it say about it. If others want to do it, fine. Go for it.

Yes, you'll have to pick which side of your ultra is the prettiest.

I know there has been discussion in the forum about which side of a Harley is the best looking. I've always said the front, because I'll only be looking at it in my mirror for a short while.

You can easily paint the whitewall (or raised white letters) on the other side. or get plain black.
Who sees both sides of the tires at the same time anyway. I used to have different hubcaps on each side of my car. Very few people noticed, one asked why I kept changing hubcaps.

That tire is ugly. Yes there is such a thing as ugly tires. I would not put that on my car let alone my bike. Yes, you can see it, its huge. Dang, I must be crazy replying to this message.
