I work construction, and I use is the copper based C5A stuff mostly(sometimes the nickel) on bolts and stuff,the copper based works great. I have loosened bolts that have been lubed with it that have been there at least 5 years and they come loose very easy, and you can still see the anti-seize on the bolts.

I use Loc tite brand, high heat silver, don't know right off what it is but I use it cause it is free.

They're all the same to me except for O2 Sensors or anything else that comes into contact with the highly corrosive atmosphere of the exhaust. . then I need something that contains microspheres of glass that act as an ablative when disassembling the part.

Just make sure what you use doesn't remove the threads from the head that you remove the spark plug from....That is a lesson you won't forget!!!
