Thanks for all your comments.
Still looking for a helmet that doesnt site so high on my head. Maybe I will have to pull the trigger on one.

Thanks again Mike

I got the Fulmer V2. It's DOT and cheaper then the Bilts. Fits great with no bobble head...I wear a medium but with a large you'll for sure be looking like the great gazoo.

I looked HARD at the Biltwell's when I was shopping for a new 3/4, but I ended up with a Fulmer V2. I wear a med... it's not humongous but it's definately a bigger profile than the Biltwell.

I keep going back and forth... my favorite half helmet is an ACC novelty polo that I've had for years (before they ever tried to make a DOT version).. I have worn it EVERYWHERE but it seems like they are cracking down on novelty lids more now (my opinion is that it's more about revenue than safety) so I keep thing the dot lid gives them one less excuse for pulling me over, and I need all the help I can get...lol.

I'm not into helmets, but the Biltwell has that nostalic look goin' for it...

I guess most of us older guys have "been there, done that", cause it's mainly the younger guys who seem to be diggin' them around here...

Hate is a strong word but not a fan.

I love the look of the biltwell helmets, but I opted for a "knucklehead" helmet from Loser Machine. I like the lining in the loser machine helmet, plus it has black edging instead of the biltwell chrome, and they come in sizes, not one size fits all. But I have never seen the Biltwell in person so I can't compare.
