Just watch the current You tube video of the Swat team breaking down the door of a guy with a young kid and wife..shooting his 2 dogs in front of the child..and terrorizing the family over an incorrect tip on drugs. A year ago in Tiffin Ohio..just up the road..an officer shot a woman holding a baby during another botched drug raid..and blew the babies hand off...killing the mother. Too many cops with a superiority complex..and in the job for the wrong reasons. Sad thing is..they usually get suspended with pay..and then reinstated. Makes me sick to think these people are here to "Protect and Serve".
Here here. Gotta wonder how many of them were the proveribial kid that got picked on everyday at school exacting their revenge now.

I think he was obviously guilty. I do think he was reacting more to the other motorcyclist in that it may have seemed like a flight situation. He was treating them as the same. In the end the cop couldn't differentiate between the two. A case where unfortunately they couldn't catch that he should never have been a cop, before he shot somebody.

With that said, why would you take off like that in front a cop car? They had to know he was there. Why even draw attention to your self. Also did anyone ever find out if the other rider had been charged with anything? It appeared he was the one that took off first and the victim followed.

Either way I hope the cop gets the full sentence.

I can't believe some of the people on here claiming it was a negligent discharge. WTF is that? His gun should have NEVER been drawn. Give me a break.

One more thing.... if the cop claims he felt he had to use deadly force (which he was quoted as saying in one of the stories I read) then why is he not being charged with attempted murder. Felonious assault is too easy a charge in my opinion.

This whole story disgusts me.
