taking a trip over memorial day from chicago to DC

leave thu after work. drive for awhile. stop at hotel. drink. sleep.

finish the rest of the way on fri.

stay fri night, sat, sat night, leave sunday afternoon for home.

this is not a site seeing in dc type of trip.

going for the 'ride' and spend a day with my daughter.

my bro is coming along in a car.

want roads that are fun to drive, some fast driving (thats more for my bro), scenic, etc.

have done 50 between dc and almost indy. have done 33 for awhile west of dc.

any other suggestions.

by the way, i have a bagger (uc).

 

Well, when I go to Indy and back to see my bro, I use I-68 thru WV and Md, then on to I-70...scenic and fast. Ya know, Rolling Thunder is the 30th...you should take an xtra day and ride in it...you'll remember it for the rest of your life.
