Default Getting divorced, can't afford scoot.

I'm going through a divorce and she's taking me to the cleaners. I have an 07 sporty that I owe about $5,000 on. I can't afford to make the payments and I think it would take too long to sell it. Should I call Harley and have Them come get it or should I ride it untill they repo it? any suggestions?

Try and sell it. If you can sell it before they take it then you will save a lot of headache with your credit. If it does get down to where they will repo it, call the bank and see if they will work with you. You may have to turn it over, but that looks a little better then them having to chase you down

I got a feeling that they are not going to be much help either way. I would be interested to see what your attorney has to say as well.

I'm pretty sure an '07 Sporty would sell pretty quick at $5g's.

You DO NOT want it repo'd unless you dont plan on financing anything for the next 5-7yrs.

You could have listed it for sale on craigslist in the same amount of time you took to ask the question here..........

Hate that for ya.
Have you thought about refinancing? 5000 @18 % is only about 160.00 a month for 4 years. If you have ok credit payments should be cheaper.

An option to look at before reposession. As mentioned above long time trouble.

If you only owe 5K, you should have no trouble getting that and a little extra. Definitely don't let em repo it. Sell it and save your credit.

if they have to hunt you down and hire a repo agency, they will add those charged on the loan and come after you for it if it gets to that point turn it in
