Cool Harley-davidson mueseum statue..?

ok so i'm thinking about the statue outside the HD mueseumand thinking, why the hill clibig theme? when i think of harleys hill climbing is one of the farthest things on my mind. i have never climed on my scoot and said i'm gonna go try and climb that dirt hill. i understand there is a bit 'o history with it but really the main statue outside the mueseum?

It's a STATUE in front of a MUSEUM. Hill climbing was a major sport for HD for most of it's history. I think it's very appropriate, what would you suggest?

Hell Harley was the original dirtbike. Do a search on here. there is an oold thread that has old pictures of bikers in the 40's and 50's riding their bikes offroad. Hell back when most roads were dirt.

One of the things - and most of the others would make a pretty boring statute.

I remember driving by hill climbs when I was a kid and seeing Harleys with huge sprockets taking their turns, but you're right, it's not at the forefront of your mind, these days, when talking HD.

Harley stayed in flat track racing for a long time, I was surprised that I didn't see much about it in the museum. Hill climbing and board track are also a big part part of the history of Harley Davidson in competition.

Hill climb, flat track or board track...its all good. I dig the vintage stuff surrounding Harley.
