It usually does not take long for someone to get greedy and want a piece of the pie. As long as the winner of the contest is payed there is not much else that can be done.
The Durhams said a portion of the money collected would go to selected charities.
After the winner is paid who is to tell him what charities he should contribute to?

Just came from the website. Too much money, not enough information. Doesn't pass the smell test.

Puckett questioned the legality of the challenge because he believes that the challenge is "essentially a race on public highways."

Which part didn't these people understand? First rider wins!!!!!

Hey... nobody was holding a gun to anyone's head to enter this event. Greed motivated the riders as well as the organizer... the almighty dollar creates many a demon. Just because these few riders who supposedly didn't get properly briefed can't understand the directions, doesn't mean that the whole event is bogus. It may not be "properly" organized, but I have been on HOG events that were not "properly" organized either and their answer was written out... SHUT UP AND RIDE! Wait and see... plus for those of you who didn't read the rules about the race... it was outlined as a rally type event... time and distance(no speeding)... wait and see what happens.
