07 with 103"/SE 204 cams. It ran exactly even up to about 90 in a roll-on with friends really good running 1200 sportster. He bought older 95" Dyna. It runs exactly even with that one also. I'm almost afraid to run my ol ladys 1200 sporty and get beat by a chick. I would hate to cut her rev limiter down to 4000 RPM. Anyone here ever outrun anything on a Road Glide?

I didn't buy this bike to win races, I wanted something uglier than me! But while getting on the freeway behind a group ride a few weeks ago, some guy on a soft tail custom decided he wanted to be in front of me so he tried to pass me, And I politely told him no. Stayed in front of him the whole way up the ramp. Then when he got next to me on the freeway he gave me the thumbs up. Oh and I was 2 up. Thank god the old lady's not fat like me.

 

I out run my trailer all the time!

you're comparing a heavy touring bike to 2 lighter bikes. both of which have a better weight to hp ratio. look at it this way, comparing against those 2 bikes, challenge them to a race, of say 500 miles or so..... at the end, see who is more beat up.....
