Help me with my custom ......
This is my 1993 Hd softail custom. Heres what I have done so far. The evo engine has beed rebuilt and stroked....about 100 over.....it has andrews mid cams....revtech dual coli ignition.....andrews gears...dyna wide glide front end.......inner primary chain now belt....s&s carb with 4 chamber kury hyper charger and cold air intake air filter....dynos at 123hp.....santee boa exhaust......its very fast and performance wise I have no issues...............
It does eat through break pads tho....not sure why......any ideas on a fix?
The custom paint was done localy by an artist here in Valparaiso and kicks *** fenders are next.
In keeping with the death/grim reaper theme any ideas on what else I can do to make it look more dark and evil would be great.
The one thing that bothers me is the pipes. I love the look and performance but as expected they are yellowing and bluing near the top due I guess to the short stature of the pipe themselves. There are currently no heat shields available for this set. I want input on what I can do or should do. It's my intention to get black header wrap and wrap them this week from the header to the first bend just before the clamp to allow the non bluing chrome to remain.
Your opinions on the pipes or anything else I can do to my custom would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with HollowPoint, back when a lot of my pals and I rode Triumphs and Nortons, blue pipes were the norm. No one tried to hide that **** with heat shields or tape.
Nice job, keep up the good work, let it evolve.
