Default small helment

I'm looking for a beanie helmet. I want it small and light weight as possible. Dot approved and thin insulation. Mine has thick cushioning and sits way up on my head. Where can I find a size Large helmet that will sit lower like I'm looking for? Thanks H3

The above Akoury 88 is a great recommendation, and I was about getting ready to order one online (since the shops in my area don't carry them) until I found a Badass (brand name) Helmet at a local shop and just loved it.

I'm sure I'd be equally happy with either one, as they both carry the style I want with the right padding that doesn't mushroom. I also prefer the thinner side straps that both have.

Best of luck!

Helmet City International. Otherwise known as HCI.

Can find them on a lot of sites on the net for less than 40 dollars. DOT approved.

I used to wear a beanie but I was wearing a 3/4 helmet when I crashed. My helmet had the yellow paint from the road on the whole side down to my chin. With the beanie that would have been my face.
