Progressive cartridge
I just saw that JP Cycles is now selling the progressive cartridge kit for baggers. Wondering if a model for the Dynas would be in the same price range. The kit for baggers is $339.99.

It's a brand new thing from what I was reading on Progressive's site. No install time was mentioned. On a bagger I'm sure it's pretty extensive since you have to deal with fairing disassembly, etc.

Took me about 4 hours on my roadglide. Getting to the tops of the fork towers is the hardest part. Could probably do the next on in about 3 hours. RG can be done w/o touching the fairing. U/C,E/C require alot more work getting into the BW

My son has their 440s on the rear of his 07WG and says it makes the front feel like crap. I see these on his bike in the near future.

Well after reading another thread about front-ends were (I believe it was) SC-Longhair stated; dumping the stock fork oil (10wt.) and replacing it with SE 20wt. Well I did that today with my bike and can honestly say that there is a great improvement in front-end response. It has smoothed out tremendously.

I put the cartridges in my Rg. There are 4 parts that go in the forks; the gas charged assembly, a spring the lower cup to secure it in the legs and 1-2 clips for preload, the oem springs and emulator valves are tossed. You only add about 5 oz or so of oil. I forget the amount but its just enough to lubricate the spring. The oil is no longer used for dampening.
More than likely you will need to replace the bushings and seal as it doesnt take many miles for the bushings to have significant wear.
If I remember right they only make them for the 41 mm front forks. The first fork took an hour and did the second in 45 mins.
They work real nice with the 940 shocks on the rear.
