Who's Fran Pavley? Is he/she (I can't tell) the author of the bill?

Arnold is a public opinion pig. He'll sign that bill even if he had 100 motorcycles.

He used a serious amount of steroids in his lifetime yet backs laws making them more illegal and a higher crime.

Good luck with that.

with any luck you will have a huge earthquake before the new law is enacted...maybe the whole state will fall off the map into the ocean. it is amazing that a state with so many problems has time to worry about motorcycle exhausts. move or shut up.

The state is bankrupt and overrun by illegal aliens but let's get tough about what the real problems in the state are. Politicians would f** up a winning lottery ticket.

goes without saying, that the government is out to take away any rights that we have as American citizens. Delaware has a law against modified exhaust on motorcycles and noise levels.

I am in Calif...current time is 7:15 am on Tuesday Aug 31.

Morning news indicated .... Arnold WILL SIGN (APPROVE) this bill.

So.....start your emails etc. to the legislature.

Could point out interstate trucking noise, construction equipment, any amplified voice, ball game stadium crowds, car stereos.

I believe a normal voice conversation is 60 decibels.

Could spur an aftermarket industry for "stamping/ engraving".

Sorry all you Limbugs, this has nothing to do with so-called Libs or the Braindead on the other side, but a whole lot to do with morons running way-too-loud pipes through the neighborhoods farting their motors with their right wrists.

I hear bikes that are stupid loud, obnoxiously loud, idiot loud. Not everyone wants their breakfast interrupted by some lardass blamming his motor up and down the street. I saw two guys gunning their motors Sunday morning as they went by the local Catholic church and purposely setting off the car alarms. They were laughing and joking and though it was a great passtime.

Meanwhiile, the church has a fair number of Vets, blue-collar workers, families trying to pray and they don't forget this stuff. That bill -- unfortunately -- has widespread support by people from all sides of the political spectrum.

The blame game... more mouth smooches from the mentally challenged...

My .02 on vote them out is this: It doesn't matter anymore what WE THE PEOPLE want. Case in point: Prop 8 here in California was voted on by the people. Doesn't matter if you're for or agaisnt the bill, the bottom line is some judge overturned the vote. The judge is appointed. So we're suppossed to vote out the person that appointed that judge? Same thing happened years ago here...the death penalty was voted in...Judge overturned it. I find it all very frustrating.

Calipornia... The Granola State (That which ain't fruits or nuts is flakes). The flakes are in state government. They can't even pass a phookin state budget. Well... at least Northern Cal has some of thew best riding and the nice part... we can ride year round. I hope Uncle Arnold grows a Goventorial Pair as it were and Vetos this Flake Bill!!! (Three chances of that happening... slim.. fat.. and none!!!).
