Default cleaning

I use lemon pledge on the windshield, windex or mother's mag wheel cleaner on the chrome and wheels, mink oil on the leather to waterproof it and armor all leather cleaner when the leather begings to look faded. I use magic eraser on the tires as they are white striped, but only use car wash to clean them, nothing to shine the sidewall.

I had a friend learn this the hard way once. I made it a rule ever since. I guess it's OK as long as you take it real easy but for someone like the OP who is getting used to a new bike, I would not do it.

I like your left handed pipes. Never seen that before.

purple power works well on the tires and the engine, but i wouldnt let it sit too long, spray scrub and rinse. plus it costs much less than S100. I do not let it get on the paint I use water and more water for the paint.

As said before here, be careful with Armor All, it can make the tires slick. If you are going for the shiny look on the tires try Mop & Glo. Leaves a shine on the wheels and doesn't sling greasiness on the bike when you ride. I use it on my FJ Cruiser and Challenger.

You'll probably find that you need a number of different specialized cleaning products: S100 Detailer, Pledge, wheel cleaner, Mothers Chrome polish, Flitz (for the polished aluminum)... But I would never allow anyone to get near any of my vehicles with Armor-all, ever!

I use Nano-wax for the paint on my bikes & vehicles, and my vintage guitars. Easiest wax to work I've ever seen. S100 to clean the bike. For rubber & vinyl seat & dashboard protection I use Lexol Vinylex-lasts a long time. I NEVER use Armor-All;it creates a dependency in the material. For leather, I just use the stuff that the MoCo sells in a bottle, or the wax that comes with a new seat. For chrome--distilled water & for aluminum--Mother's aluminum polish. Wesley's bleche white on the whitewalls, although it doesn't really get them that white;haven't found anything better. Novus polish on the windsheild, & S-100 engine protectant as a final motor spray. Black shoe polish to cover wax stains on wrinkle black.
