I came to a video on YouTube that discussed a HD bike customizing program due to roll out February, 2011 called HD-1. You could order a variety of options direct from the factory, including paint options, ect. I'm wondering what models this would apply to? All? Some? Anyone know more about it?

 

I heard it was going to start with Sportsters only. Other models to come. At least that's what Earl said down at the shop. Hope to see you on the road around Jackson.

 

I can't imagine it would be any way cost effective... but we'll see

 

..... maybe not down to the last dollar, but if the program included some credit for substituted parts, i could imagine walking into the dealer & ordering an RGU in a Yellow Pearl scheme with the LED light bar installed, along w/the X's rear fender fascia, bag extensions, and one'a them new SE120's ...... all w/an extended factory warranty......... i'd be a happy rider.
