Schwarzenneger signs SB435...

Off topic but here goes:
State prisons can release comatose and physically incapacitated inmates on medical parole under a measure approved Tuesday by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger that is expected to save California at least $46 million annually.
Well, since they will be released from prison and off the state dole, where do you think they'll wind up? They most likely will have nowhere to go and will still fall under state funded care, just the money will come from somewhere else.
Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul scenario.
And, everyone's right, he's a politician so what do we expect?

Sucks about the law that will affect new bikes after 2013. Always figured if they made it a retro thing back to 2000 (as originally introduced) I was gonna register my '06 at my brother-in-laws place in Arizona,

It's already against federal law to remove a catalytic converter, why the big fuss over CA making it a state law too? The CA law is pure surplusage; it merely copies a pre-existing federal law.
