Custom Dynamics ROCKS!!!
We spend an awful lot of time bitching and complaining on this site (I’m not pointing the finger at anyone in particular because I certainly have done my share), but I wanted to give a shout out to Custom Dynamics for their excellent customer service and tech support. I was fighting an issue with a function not working on my CD Turn Signal Eliminator kit (license plate holder), so I got on their website and saw that it has a lifetime warranty (the kit was already installed on my bike when I bought it ). I was sure that it was a problem with the lights in the kit, it’s probably four years old now. Anyway, I gave them a call, told them about my issue, and was told I’d be getting a call back from tech support. A couple hours later, I did indeed get that phone call, and the tech, Jacob, spent the next hour troubleshooting the rats nest under my seat from the pictures and videos I sent him, and patiently walking me through which wires to check for voltage. He eventually figured out the problem (it WAS a wiring issue and not the plate holder) and I’m sure he would’ve stayed on the phone with me for another three hours if that’s what it took.
Anyway, although pricey, you definitely get what you pay for with Custom Dynamics. Their products are top notch and their customer service/tech support is second to none, and I would not hesitate to recommend them and their products to anyone that I know…

My bike was already outfitted with their turn signals (bag strips), “plugs” which mount on the rear facia where the factory antenna holes are, and the previously discussed turn signal eliminator kit, and I would buy all three products if I was starting from scratch. I seriously considered CD’s fog lights and Ciro’s offering (I forget what they are called) but ultimately decided on Clearwater lights for my driving/fogs. All three have excellent reviews, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.
I also have a CD Tri-Bar on order to replace my factory rear fascia light, it should be here tomorrow. I”ll post up some pics when I get it and my license plate holder installed …

Going in 6 years on my Custom Dynamics front and rear turn signals, zero problems. My one nit is on the Road King stock turn signal housings there is nothing for the C.D. LED boards to mount on or against. I cut some old vacuum line in half and glued them in place, set the boards in place worked fine.
I really appreciate the extra white running lights up front and the extra brake lights.

CD is a pretty solid company. I just added their headlight to my 2021 SGS because the stock light is underwhelming and was already fogging up. So far the CD light is much better.
That said I think they have gone the wrong direction with their tail lights and other rear red lighting. I just don’t like the newer look as well as I used to.

I installed a Custom Dynamics rear brake flasher (Magic Strobes) a bit over six years ago. Recently I found that my brake lights and rear turn signals weren't working. I disconnected the Magic Strobes, and everything worked fine again. I wrote to Custom Dynamics and explained what happened, and they advised me to throw that defective unit in the trash and a replacement was in my hands a few days later.
Killer service!
