Default Bikers get the green to go on red!

If this has been posted already I apologize in advance.

Surprised me to see the meaning of ABATE in the article. I haven't heard them referred to by that title in a long, long, time.

It's been done in many states already.

Edit.....Meant to say I think that's a great. Haven't been keeping up on it.

The previous response in this post was meant for a Instant Messaging conversation I was having. Guess I don't multi task as good as I used to.

Good for Kansas. I also like that $5 fine for no seatbelt. What cop is going to waste his time writing that ticket unless he also has a more serious violation.

It's legal in NC.

But cameras still generate a ticket if the intersection has them.

I agree with that. It cost's more than the $5.00 fine to process the ticket.

I wish all states would pass a similar law. Good for Kansas.

We've got a couple of those intersections here in my home town, the sensor in the street just doesn't register that the bike is sitting there.

I go thru those red lights on a regular basis, and have waved at a couple of LEO's while doing it...

Every once in a great while some common sense slips into the system....

I wish FL had this law. I don't know how many times I will sit through 2 cycles of red lights then I just ride through.
